FOCUS 2017

Our goal during every FOCUS event is to bring TruVision Health leaders outside of their comfort zone and into nature so that they can truly focus. We want our leaders to be able to look beyond any road blocks that may be hindering their lives, business or happiness and find new ways to succeed in all of them. With a combination of beautiful scenery, great company and motivational speeches, we can say we felt that FOCUS 2017 was a huge success and want to thank everyone that was able to be a part of it! Now, let’s dive into the details of what made this event so great.

We spent the first night cozied up in the conference room eating dinner and listening to co-founder Travis Martin speak. It was really moving listening to how the past FOCUS events have impacted the founders. This event has given corporate and Associates the chance to really get to know each other and build relationships in an intimate setting. Building relationships and respect for one another is really important in this business, it gives all of us reason to not only believe in the company we are working for, but to believe in the founders that lead us. When we can believe in each other, we can respect each other and truly succeed.

Our first morning began with an intense yoga workout that left everyone sore for the rest of the weekend! While it was quite challenging, everyone pushed through and finished feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. After the work out, we met in the conference room and listened to co-founders Shawn Gibson and Derek Bailey speak. They touched on the topic of fear and the important role it plays in our every day lives. Fear helps fuel our desire to accomplish goals we set before ourselves. Without fear, we would lack the ability to feel challenged. Challenge is important to keep one feeling motivated and fulfilled when they accomplish things in their lives. Fear can be a scary thing, but a very powerful tool if you utilize it correctly.

We continued the day by adventuring into the Narrows. It started out as quite a chilly morning, but the weather warmed up quickly and it turned out to be a beautiful day in the park! We ate our lunches together with the squirrels at the end of the trail which was quite entertaining. We concluded the day with dinner outside of the hotel surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery that makes up Zion. We presented Alessa Yarbrough and Darla Odom, 2 of TruVision Health’s newest 4 Star Directors, with their guitars! Recognizing the hard work of some of our directors was the perfect way to end the day.

The next morning we started with some early morning stretches to prepare everyone for the main attraction, Angels Landing. Some were nervous, some were terrified, but everyone was excited and ready to take on the summit together! It is nearly impossible to describe the beauty of this hike and especially the breathtaking views we got to experience at the top of Angel’s Landing, but hopefully you can get a taste of it from the video. We gathered for dinner one final time that night, tired and sunburned, but unified as a group with many new friends. Dave Brown wrapped up the event after dinner with a moving speech and we bid farewell to our business associates and friends.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us this year! We are already excited for the FOCUS trip next year. It was an amazing weekend and one that no one will ever forget! FOCUS is an event unlike any other, and similar to a fingerprint, no two events will be the same.
