Healthier Chocolate Recipes For Valentine’s Day

It’s the perfect staple for all things love, hearts, and Valentine’s. It can oftentimes be easy to dedicate this holy day of love to our obsession with chocolate and binge eat it all day… but we know that you’re trying harder to live healthier.

 We want to help you in every stage of your journey, so it’s only fitting we provide some healthy and delicious chocolate options for you! Here are our healthier chocolate recipes for Valentine’s Day.

Valentine's Day Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake

Valentine’s Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake


  • 1 packet of rePLACE™ 
  • 15 frozen strawberries
  • 1 Tbsp of molasses
  • 2 C of almond milk


  1. Blend well and enjoy!

Healthy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

(Adapted from KristinesKitchenBlog.com)


  • 6 Tbsp organic butter or coconut oil
  • 1 15 oz. canned pumpkin
  • ½ C honey or pure maple syrup
  • ¼ C almond milk 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 ¼ C whole wheat flour 
  • 1 pouch vanilla rePLACE™
  • ½ C chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 
  2. Melt the oil and mix with the wet ingredients
  3. Slowly mix in the flour and rePLACE
  4. Mix in the spices and the rest of the dry ingredients
  5. Pour in chocolate chips
  6. Scoop into lined muffin tins
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

Healthy S'mores Chocolate recipe

Delicious S’mores Mug Cake


  • 1 pouch chocolate rePLACE™
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  •  1 Tbsp almond flour or coconut flour 
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar 
  • 2 Tbsp almond milk


  1. Grease a large mug and add the egg and almond milk. Mix well. 
  2. Add the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. 
  3. Cook in the microwave on half power 2-3 minutes, checking on it often so it doesn’t overflow or get overcooked.
  4. Melt a marshmallow by cooking it another 20-30 seconds and top with a 1/4 graham cracker. Enjoy!

Chocolate Brownie Bites With rePLACE™


  • 1 pouch chocolate replace
  • 1/2 C almond flour
  • 1/4 C peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • Dash of almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp chocolate chips


  1. Mix dry ingredients first, getting rid of any clumps.
  2. Add the peanut butter and honey and dash of almond milk if needed. Should be a sticky and doughy consistency. Makes about 12 bites.

Nut Butter Filled Brownie Bites With rePLACE™


  • 1/2 C almond flour
  • 1 pouch of Brownie rePLACE
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 C brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1/3 C cacao powder
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1/3 C olive oil or melted coconut oil


  1. Mix dry ingredients until fine and no lumps. Mash the banana and add oil and honey. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until you get a thick, sticky mixture. Grease a mini muffin tin and fill with the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 min. It’s ok if the middles sink, that’s where the nut butter goes!
  2. Let the brownie bites cool for a bit and gently remove from the pan. Add a dollop of your favorite nut butter.
  3. You can store them in the fridge to set the nut butter if you want, or enjoy them while it’s ooey and gooey!
