Quick and Easy CRAFTED Chicken Recipes

Prep your proteins in advance for easy healthy meals when you’re short on time! It only takes about 1-2 hours to prep different proteins that you can toss in your freezer and keep for up to 4-6 months for a variety of fast and healthy meals when you’re too busy (or tired) to cook. Here’s how!
First, you’ll want to pick your favorite proteins and 2-3 ways to prepare them. Prepare the amount of servings you want to have stored in your freezer. It’s good to make different flavor options because you never know what might sound good on the day you need a quick meal.
If your proteins bake at the same temperature, pop them in together if you have room in the oven. If they cook for different amounts of time (like salmon and chicken), set your timer for the option that needs to cook for the least amount of time; pull it out then continue cooking the other option for the remaining time, or you can just cook them separately.
Once the proteins are finished cooking, give them time to cool. You can then store individual servings in ziplock baggies to put in the freezer. You can dice them up before freezing (makes for easier thawing and reheating), or you can keep them whole depending on your preference.
You can freeze entire meals also so that you don’t even have to worry about sides if you’re really in a hurry. If you meal prep for the week, but end up not eating all of your prepped meals before they go bad no worries! Just pop them in the freezer to keep them safe for up to 4-6 months.
Having healthy food that can be thrown together quickly when you’re hungry and in a hurry helps you to stay on track with your health and fitness goals. These freezer protein options are great to heat up and toss on a salad or pair with some steamed veggies. So prep some of these for when you’re in a hurry or just don’t have the energy to cook in order to avoid the temptations of fast food!
Here are four different ways to prep your chicken!
Choose your favorite or try all four!
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup diced onion
- 1-2 tbsp Franks Hot Sauce
- Blue Cheese Crumbles
- Balsamic Glaze
- ½ tbsp CRAFTED Peppered Italian
- ½ tbsp CRAFTED Southwest Chipotle
- ½ tbsp CRAFTED Cheddar Bacon
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with 4 separate sheets of parchment paper or foil big enough to wrap one diced chicken breast in.
- Dice chicken breasts and separate into 4 portions.
- Toss diced portions of chicken with the following seasonings:
Buffalo Blue Cheese – 1-2 tbsp franks hot sauce and 1 tbsp blue cheese crumbles.
Italian – ½ tbsp CRAFTED Peppered Italian seasoning, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Cheddar Bacon – ½ to 1 tbsp CRAFTED Cheddar Bacon seasoning, ¼ cup diced onion.
Southwest Chipotle – ½ tbsp CRAFTED Southwest Chipotle seasoning, ¼ cup diced onion.
- Seal each flavor in its own parchment or foil packet, place the packets on a baking sheet, and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or until done.
