About Truvy

David is the Founder and Co-Owner of Truvy. Dave grew up in San Diego, CA but since has spent most of his life living in Utah. Dave has 40+ years of experience in business and product development. He has spent time formulating successful products that have been sold around the world. He works primarily on overseeing new product development, interacting with Associates in the field, and guiding the company employing the highest integrity and ethics.

In 2013, Dave set out to start a company that is based on values. A company that’s sole mission is to help people live better and healthier lives through proper nutrition and weight loss. Dave had just the solution. He formulated products that are safe, effective, and affordable and just needed to get them in the hands of the people who could benefit the most. That is where Truvy was born.

It was no coincidence that Truvy was founded in the Network Marketing industry. Dave, also having a background in accounting, understood the monetary impact that sharing these products could have for Truvy Associates. The products work and that is what matters most but offering a financial opportunity to those who share the product played a significant role in our mission of helping people and inspiring personal progress.

Derrick is the Chief Officer behind the Sales & Marketing of Truvy. Derrick was raised in Orem, UT. Being from Utah, Derrick has been around and involved with the Network Marketing industry his entire career. With 20+ years of experience, Derrick has seen it all. Working for a billion-dollar company as a teenager, to being a field leader, and eventually owning his own company in his late twenties. Derrick filled those shoes and more. He understands what it takes to have a successful business and that is what brought him to Truvy. He loves the values and ideals the company was founded on and fell in love with the culture surrounding the Truvy.

Many times, Derrick becomes the first point of contact to leaders in the field. He knows each of them personally and takes pride in helping them grow their business. Derrick is a giver and spends much of his time in the field working hand in hand and building relationships with the Associates of Truvy.

Scott is the CFO at Truvy. Scott grew up in a small town called Glendale, UT. After graduating High School, Scott joined the military where he learned the value of hard work and commitment. While serving full-time in the military, a deployment to Iraq, continuing his education, and becoming a certified CPA, Scott exemplifies the definition of “dedication.”

Not only is Scott an expert in finance (and hence his role at Truvy) but he also has a passion for fitness coupled with years of experience and knowledge in exercise and nutrition. This being one of the reasons he chose Truvy, Scott is proud to promote the company vision of living better through proper nutrition and exercise. Scott constantly works with the field to motivate and provide guidance on some of our fitness and nutrition programs.

Dean is the Chief Officer focused on Associate Experience at Truvy. Dean was raised in the small town of Paris, TX. Fun fact: it is the second largest Paris in the world and has an Eiffel Tower with a red cowboy hat on top. He is known within Truvy for his happy-go-lucky attitude and being the life of the party. He enjoys anything that involves socializing with people and if you have met Dean, you know this to be true! He always finds the positive in everything he does and that spreads to those around him.

Dean has over a decade of experience in sales and leadership and works primarily with the Associates and Leaders in the field. Dean and his team help Associates to own their own business, understand the ins and outs, track reporting, and increase sales. Dean also has a background in Marketing and Events, in fact, not long ago you might have seen Dean being the emcee of a Miss America Pageant or two. He is a man of many talents.
